The Glory of our Freedoms

I have had the wonderful honor of being able to watch a Freedom Service dog for a week.  I was quickly thrown into being a foster mom for a puppy that will one day be either a therapy dog or a service dog.  There is nothing like the unconditional love of a dog... nothing like the love of a puppy.  They play and love with such freedom!  We are celebrating our freedoms this month and may we never forget our freedom to worship and our freedom of religion!

I am never more free than when I go and get my Bible, to sit outside on my front porch and read to my hearts' content.  We should never forget that there are many in the world that cannot do this.  There are people that are persecuted for just owning a Bible.  And what about those who worship in secret because they would be arrested?  We are able here in America to walk into any house of worship without any worries.  This is one of our most prescious freedoms... let us never forget that our country was founded as one nation under GOD!

In spite of our economic worries here in America, we are still the best free nation on earth.  We can live in this freedom with thankfulness... may we never take our freedoms for granted either.  Let's give thanks for all of our Servicemen who continue to fight for all of our freedoms.  When you get a chance in the future, thank a man or woman in uniform.  Thank them for protecting your freedoms.  I know they don't hear that enough and it will do their heart good!  Look them in the eye and shake their hand with humble gratitude.  Tell them we will never forget... we will never forget where we live... a land of the brave... a land of the free!

May GOD BLESS ALL OUR FREEDOMS!

JOHN 8:32 "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
