I don't know about you, but my Church has such wonderful music....we have a huge choir that is well over 100 and a praise band that is so full of HIS spirit. When we sing together it is all I can do to keep back the tears of awe and joy as I listen to our words being sung. GOD is the composer of those wonderful sounds, but HE is also the composer of our days.
We are officially into the Fall season and with each passing day I see HIS hand touching our universe. The morning skies have been beautiful....I took the picture above right off my back patio one morning this past week. I was in awe! It was as if GOD took a brush to the sky to paint the wonderful colors there.....just for me and you!
We are in such a troubling time here in the USA, but my message here today is that HE is still the MASTER of our universe! HE is the composer of it all, including our souls! And HE puts HIS beauty all around us.....just for giving us another day in HIS creation, we need to get on our knees and be thankful!
Scripture commands us to not worry about tomorrow.....we are to live in the precious present and that means with our whole soul! HE is working daily on our hearts, by sending us HIS beauty, a sweet nudge as if to say: "I AM"! Don't miss it......being in touch with HIM daily allows our GOD to compose for us a soul that worships and adores HIM in every way. It is why HE created us in the first place.
When we worship and adore HIM and give HIM glory for all we have, GOD works within our hearts to bring us joy and peace. Your worries fall away when your eyes are on HIM! HE wants us to look for those every day details.....HE is there conducting it all just for us. Please don't take any of it for granted!
Our LORD loves us that much.....so much so, that HE sent HIS son, JESUS CHRIST, to die on a cross for us, just so HE didn't have to be separated from us. HE is the great composer of history and men.....let us never ever forget.
PSALM 107:21-22 "Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for HIS goodness, and for HIS wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare HIS works with rejoicing."
Blessings,
Maxine
