I have spent the past two days glued to a book by Jonathan Cahn.  I don't normally do reviews, it is not my thing, however, this book has encouraged me to spread the word to all who have not read it.  You can decide for yourself what it all means... however, the facts in it and how it relates to Scripture, is uncanny and you cannot deny what it says!

Jonathan Cahn leads the Hope of the World ministries and the Jerusalem Center/Beth Israel, a worship center made up of Jew and Gentile.  His book is a must read for every American.  When you are finished reading it, the back page encourages you to spread the word about it in social media or on Facebook and in blogs.  

The story begins as a conversation, but the facts are all found in Scripture, the WORD of GOD and how it relates to Israel and America's futures.  Cahn makes it clear with a preface that what you are about to read is presented in the form of a story, but what is contained in the story is real. The story starts with the explanation of what a harbinger is: a warning. Then the narrative continues to explain all nine Harbingers, and the mysteries behind each one of them.  

Our first warning from GOD began on 9/11 and there were many facts revealed about the destruction and World Trade towers that I never knew.  This book also goes into great detail about the stock market crash, global financial crisis, Ground Zero, the tree of Hope, St. Paul's Chapel, the Cross found in the World Trade Center's rubble, and GOD'S repeated warning for us to turn back to HIM as a nation. 

Behind all the mystery in this book is just one message: return.  At this point in history, GOD is calling us back to HIM.  And America's future depends on our response to HIM.

The book centers mostly around ISAIAH 9: 10 which says: "The bricks have fallen down, but we will rebuild with hewn stone; the sycamores have been cut down, but we will plant cedars in their place."  It is not a scripture that stands out to many of us from memory, however, it has great meaning in our history and Cahn ties it all together in this amazing book.

I have also read many negative responses to this book saying that you cannot cherry pick a Scripture out of the Bible and make it into a book.  This of course is for the reader to decide.

I was able to Google many images again of Ground Zero, and found much information that backed up what Cahn talks about in the book.  It is a compelling read and prophetic message for our time.

I walked away from this book realizing that no matter what is happening around us, crisis or peace, that GOD is in control... HE is Sovereign now and forevermore!  All in all, it is a must read, and as a Christian, it is for me or you, to decided what we will do with the information we have read.  So I encourage you to take a look.  Blessings on your reading of this engaging book!
